– Serviços, Navegação e Trânsitos,
Lda., was founded in 1980 as the result
of a project of the main company José
Inácio da Costa Lopes – Despachantes
Oficiais Associados, Lda. whose origins
date back to 1949 when the founding partner
started his activity of broker in the
Portuguese Customs.
Owned by the same partners
and sharing the same board of directors with
the "mother" company, JOSEIN
’s core business is to provide his
clients with optimised transport solutions
for their export and import traffic.

Airfreight Cargo
Our activity, which started
mainly based on road traffic to and from some
European countries (Spain, France, Italy and
Belgium) was later expanded to include air
cargo as Air Cargo Agent, thus being
able to offer transport solutions to a much
wider range of destinations.

Shipping Agent
As JOSEIN is based very
near Lisboa’s seaport, it was only
natural to include sea transport in our
activities and so we also became involved in
maritime operations as Shipping Agent.

International Courier
During the last decade,
adjusting to the market evolution, namely
the tendencies to his client companies
reducing stocks and adopting a policy of
"just-in-time" deliveries,
JOSEIN not only initiated a new service
of door-to-door transport but also,
together with other companies worldwide,
became International Courier Agent.

and Packaging facilities as well as

with the solutions required by modern market
